Orange
Money Mali was recognised at the closing gala dinner of the Festival Chant des
Linguères 2025, second edition, where its Chief Executive Officer, Diop Bintou
Koné, received the Prix Linguère award.
The
distinction honours women from the Sahel whose leadership, talent, and
commitment have made significant contributions to cultural and socio-economic
development. The award highlights the role of female leaders in driving impact
across their communities and sectors.

Organisers
of the festival said the recognition reflects the growing influence of women in
shaping inclusive development and promoting innovation across the region.
Orange Money Mali’s presence at the event underscored the company’s engagement
with initiatives that support social and economic empowerment.
The
closing ceremony also celebrated other award recipients and contributors who
supported the successful organisation of the second edition of the Festival
Chant des Linguères.
