Orange
Côte d’Ivoire has officially launched the seventh cohort of its Generation
Orange program, an academic excellence initiative aimed at supporting
outstanding students from low-income families. The launch ceremony brought together
beneficiaries, partners, and representatives of the Orange Côte d’Ivoire
Foundation.

The
Generation Orange program provides selected students with scholarships,
personalized mentoring, and essential school equipment, as part of a broader
effort to combat school dropout and promote equal access to education. Through
this initiative, the Orange Côte d’Ivoire Foundation continues to strengthen
its long-standing commitment to social inclusion and youth empowerment through
education.
Speaking
at the ceremony, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer
of Orange Côte d’Ivoire, Mamadou Coulibaly commended the beneficiaries for
their dedication and perseverance. He described the certificates awarded as
recognition of the students’ discipline, commitment, and academic effort,
encouraging them to remain resilient in the face of challenges and uncertainty.

Mr.
Coulibaly reaffirmed Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to standing alongside
the students throughout their academic journey, not only by providing support
but also by giving them visibility to ensure their talents are recognized. He
noted that the ceremony served both as a moment of recognition and a platform
to showcase the potential of young people who, despite challenging
circumstances, continue to demonstrate excellence.
The
Generation Orange program remains a key pillar of Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s
corporate social responsibility agenda, with a focus on nurturing future
leaders and expanding opportunities for talented youth across the country.
