Safaricom Ethiopia hosts Vodacom Group CTO at Headquarters

Safaricom
Ethiopia has hosted the Group Chief Technology Officer of Vodacom Group, Dejan
Kastelic, during a visit to its headquarters, reinforcing the strong commitment
of its shareholders to the company’s growth, innovation, and long-term success
in the Ethiopian market.
During
the visit, Kastelic engaged in an interactive session with members of Safaricom
Ethiopia’s technology team, with discussions centered on enhancing operational
efficiency, strengthening collaboration, and advancing future-ready technology
initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
He
also held an open town hall session with the technology team, creating a
platform for candid dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of insights
on innovative approaches to support Safaricom Ethiopia’s evolving network and
digital ambitions.
As
part of the visit, Kastelic toured Safaricom Ethiopia’s data center, where he
was introduced to the company’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and innovative
technology solutions that underpin its commitment to delivering reliable,
high-quality services to customers.
