Rwanda
has hosted a delegation from Mali for an exchange focused on digital governance
and the modernisation of public service delivery, as part of the Rwanda
Cooperation Initiative. The engagement took place at the Rwanda Cooperation
Initiative headquarters and was led by Irembo, Rwanda’s integrated digital
platform for government services.

During
the session, Irembo presented practical insights drawn from the design,
development, and implementation of its one-stop e-Government platform.
Discussions centred on the role of digital systems in improving access to
public services, enhancing transparency, and strengthening the reliability and
efficiency of government operations.
The
presentation also highlighted key achievements and lessons learned from
Rwanda’s experience, providing the Malian delegation with concrete examples of
how digital platforms can support public sector reform and service delivery at
scale.

The
exchange formed part of broader efforts to promote knowledge sharing and peer
learning among African countries, reinforcing continental collaboration in
advancing digital transformation and strengthening public institutions through
technology.
