The
National Agency for Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) of Gabon
hosted a delegation from Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity
technologies, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national cyber
resilience.
The
meeting focused on discussions around a potential strategic partnership aimed
at enhancing the cybersecurity capacities of ANINF. Palo Alto Networks, which
is internationally recognized for supporting governments and large
organizations in protecting critical digital infrastructure, presented its
expertise in addressing evolving cyber threats and building resilient digital
systems.
According
to ANINF, the engagement explored opportunities for skills development and
capacity building for its technical teams, with an emphasis on strengthening
agents’ competencies and supporting the agency’s mandate to secure the national
digital ecosystem.
The
discussions also underscored ANINF’s broader commitment to leveraging
international expertise to reinforce cybersecurity governance, protect critical
infrastructure, and advance digital sovereignty. The agency reaffirmed its role
as a central institution in Gabon’s cybersecurity architecture, particularly as
the country continues to expand and modernize its digital infrastructure.
ANINF
noted that the meeting represents an important step toward deeper collaboration
with global technology partners in pursuit of a secure, controlled, and
sovereign digital environment.
