MTN
South Sudan has hosted its Stakeholder Appreciation Event at the Pyramid
Continental Hotel in Juba, bringing together partners, regulators and industry
leaders to acknowledge their contributions to the country’s digital
transformation journey.

The
event opened with remarks from MTN South Sudan Chief Executive Officer, Madam
Mapula Bodibe, who expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their continued
collaboration and support. Keynote addresses were also delivered by
representatives of the National Communications Authority and the Bank of South
Sudan, highlighting the importance of partnership in strengthening the nation’s
digital ecosystem.
Participants
were presented with a 2025 recap video that showcased MTN South Sudan’s key
achievements over the year, including community development initiatives and the
expansion of 4G+ network coverage across the country. The presentation indicates
the company’s ongoing investments in infrastructure and service delivery aimed
at improving connectivity and access to digital services.
A
panel discussion titled “The Power of Public-Private Partnerships in Driving
Digital Transformation” formed a central part of the programme. The discussion
featured representatives from government institutions, technology hubs and MTN
leadership, who examined the role of collaboration in accelerating innovation,
improving service delivery and supporting economic growth.

MTN
South Sudan noted that the appreciation event served not only as a platform to
recognise stakeholder contributions but also as a reaffirmation of the
company’s mission to connect communities, empower businesses and support South
Sudan’s development agenda. The company reiterated its commitment to working
closely with stakeholders to build a more inclusive and digitally enabled
future for the country.
