MTN
Zambia has officially launched AppJoy, a new digital lifestyle application
developed by Muen in partnership with Huawei Technologies. The application is
available exclusively on MTN Zambia’s Alola smartphone range, positioning it as
an accessible entry point to digital services for customers across the country.

The
launch event was attended by the Minister of Technology and Science, Honourable
Felix C. Mutati, who served as Guest of Honour. He commended the collaboration
between MTN Zambia, Huawei and Muen, noting that digital inclusion extends
beyond technology and plays a critical role in Zambia’s economic and social
development.
MTN
Zambia said the introduction of AppJoy reflects a shared vision among the
private sector, government and regulatory institutions to expand access to
digital tools and services. The initiative aims to make connectivity and
digital empowerment more widely available, particularly through affordable
smart devices.

Customers
are being encouraged to experience the new application by purchasing the Alola
4G or Alola Max smartphones, which come with AppJoy pre-installed and are
available at all MTN Zambia Service Centres nationwide. MTN Zambia said the
rollout represents another step in its broader digital transformation efforts,
focused on building a more connected, informed and empowered society.
