The
Minister Delegate for Digital Economy and Innovation, Mariam Hamadou Ali, has
held a high-level meeting with the French Ambassador to Djibouti, Jérôme
Bresson, to advance bilateral cooperation in the digital sector.
The
discussion reaffirmed the strength of existing partnerships between the two
countries, particularly ongoing study tours, technical support programmes and
joint initiatives designed to accelerate digital transformation and foster
entrepreneurship in Djibouti.

Both
sides highlighted progress under the e-Skills project, including preparations
for the launch of École 42 in Djibouti. The institution, known for its
project-based learning model, is expected to play a significant role in
developing local talent and strengthening the national digital ecosystem.
The
meeting underscored a growing strategic partnership aimed at supporting
innovation, skills development and Djibouti’s long-term digital ambitions.
