The
Egyptian Space Agency has held discussions with a delegation from the Beijing
Institute of Technology (BIT) as part of efforts to strengthen scientific and
technological cooperation between Egypt and China in the field of space
technology.
The
delegation was received by the Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Space
Agency, Dr. Eng. Maged Ismail, who led talks on potential areas of
collaboration, including space technology development and advanced data
processing. The discussions also explored the application of artificial
intelligence in image analysis to improve the accuracy and quality of
scientific outputs.

The
meeting further examined mechanisms for exchanging technical expertise between
the two institutions and considered the establishment of a joint project aimed
at supporting innovation and capacity building in advanced space applications.
The
engagement forms part of the Egyptian Space Agency’s broader strategy to expand
international partnerships and strengthen research and technical capabilities
in support of Egypt’s future space programmes.
