The
Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology appeared before the Kaduna
State House of Assembly for its 2026 budget defence, reviewing the 2025
approved budget and presenting proposed estimates for the upcoming fiscal year.

Led
by Commissioner Patience Fakai, the session, chaired by Hon. Suleiman Magaji
Soba, Chairman of the House Committee on Business and Innovation, provided a
platform to discuss the Ministry’s strategic contributions to economic growth
and development in the state.

Key
priorities highlighted included advancing skills development, strengthening
talent pipelines, supporting enterprise growth, accelerating tourism, and
promoting innovation-driven employment. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment
to building a dynamic ecosystem that empowers citizens, enhances productivity,
and drives sustainable economic transformation in Kaduna State.
