Ethiopian
Investment Holdings (EIH) has expressed readiness to support emerging
artificial intelligence startups following a high-level visit to the Ethiopian
Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII). The delegation, led by EIH CEO, Brook
Taye , toured the Institute’s new headquarters and its recently established AI
Startup Center.

During
the visit, Dr. Brook said he was impressed by the range of innovations being
developed, noting that many of the startups possess strong potential to address
Ethiopia’s most pressing challenges through technology-driven solutions. He
highlighted the significance of the Institute’s role in nurturing young
innovators and preparing a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of
contributing to the country’s digital future.

Dr.
Brook added that EIH is prepared to offer the institutional support needed to
help these startups scale and strengthen their impact. The visit marks the
beginning of what both institutions describe as a promising collaboration aimed
at expanding Ethiopia’s innovation and technology ecosystem.
