Ltd Ghana has hosted a senior delegation from Sierra Leone Commercial Bank
(SLCB) in a high-level knowledge-sharing engagement focused on advancing mobile
financial services across the West African sub-region.
The
visit served as an important platform for exchanging perspectives on digital
financial innovation, operational excellence and regulatory approaches shaping
Ghana’s evolving fintech ecosystem.
The
delegation examined MobileMoney Ltd’s operational frameworks, governance
structures and customer-focused innovations that underpin service reliability,
security and accessibility. They also reviewed the company’s strategies in
agent network management, interoperability and ecosystem expansion, as well as
models for building resilient and inclusive mobile money platforms capable of
supporting national financial inclusion objectives.

Shaibu Haruna underscored the value of cross-border collaboration in
strengthening Africa’s digital finance landscape, noting that shared
experiences and cooperative learning are essential to accelerating financial
inclusion and digital transformation across the continent.
The
visit concluded with a commitment to deepen cooperation as SLCB works to
enhance and scale its mobile financial services offerings, marking another step
toward stronger regional partnerships driven by technology and innovation.
