The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform (MTNRA) and Capgemini Morocco have partnered to launch the national mentoring program aimed at strengthening gender inclusion in the country’s digital sector. The initiative builds on the
partnership formed during a ministerial visit in June and aligns closely with
the country’s “Maroc Digital 2030” strategy and the Royal vision promoting
equal opportunity and social mobility through digital transformation.
Amal
El Fallah-Seghrouchni, Minister for Digital Transition and Administration
Reform (MTNRA) welcomed the programme, describing digital technology as a key
driver for building a more inclusive society. She noted that empowering women
in technology is essential to shaping Morocco’s future and highlighted the
program’s role in strengthening female talent in the digital ecosystem.
Capgemini Morocco Managing Director Badra Hamdaoua said the initiative reflects
the company’s long-standing commitment to digital inclusion, stating that
mentorship and solidarity among women are critical to supporting the next
generation of digital professionals.

The
program will be led by Capgemini’s women leaders, senior executives and members
of the Women in Leadership network, who will serve as mentors. Designed to
bridge the gap between academia and the technology sector, the mentoring effort
will focus on practical guidance, career preparation, and professional exposure
for participating students.
Launching
in several universities across different regions, the pilot phase aims to form
twenty mentor–mentee pairs in its first edition. Each pair will engage in a
year-long mentorship cycle that includes monthly meetings, skills workshops,
company immersion sessions and experience-sharing activities. The initiative
specifically targets students from diverse backgrounds, including those from
underrepresented regions and recipients of financial aid, to help level the
playing field and enhance territorial diversity in digital professions.
The
program will roll out over the 2025–2026 academic year, beginning with the
selection and pairing process in November 2025 and an official launch in
December. A national promotion campaign will follow on International Women’s
Day in March 2026, with the first edition scheduled to conclude in May 2026.
