The
first phase of Côte d'Ivoire’s inventory of State-owned real estate has
successfully identified and digitized 28,187 properties as of August 31, 2025,
government officials announced.
Minister
of Communication and government spokesman, Amadou Coulibaly made the
announcement following the Council of Ministers meeting at the Presidential
Palace. He noted that the initial phase, which lasted twelve months, covered
the Autonomous Districts of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro, as well as twelve district
capitals and localities with populations exceeding 200,000, including Divo,
Soubré, Duékoué, and Bouaflé.
The
second phase, launched in September 2025, will expand to other domestic
localities and Côte d'Ivoire’s overseas properties. Coulibaly urged
administrative authorities managing State real estate to facilitate access for
survey teams to ensure the project’s success.
The
nationwide initiative, launched in August 2024, aims to create a centralized,
up-to-date, and reliable database of the State’s real estate assets, including
detailed mapping and directories of both built and unbuilt properties.
