CAMTEL,
Cameroon’s national telecommunications operator, has welcomed a high-level
delegation from Ethio Telecom, led by its General Manager, at Yaoundé-Nsimalen
International Airport on December 3.
The
visit marks the start of official engagements culminating in the presentation
and signing of a Master Service Agreement (MSA) between the two operators. The
partnership aims to advance innovative services, expand connectivity, and
strengthen Cameroon’s digital ecosystem for citizens, businesses, and
institutions.

Over
the two-day visit, Ethio Telecom will participate in formal ceremonies,
technical and business meetings with CAMTEL staff, and discussions focused on
implementing the MSA. The delegation will also engage with government
representatives and key institutional partners.
According
to CAMTEL, the agreement will facilitate mentorship initiatives, cooperative
training programs, and expert exchanges between the two operators. These
initiatives are expected to accelerate digital transformation efforts and
enhance the delivery of high-performance telecom services across Cameroon.
