Huawei
Cloud and Peerless Software Global Services Limited have signed a Memorandum of
Understanding aimed at strengthening cloud-supported banking services in
Nigeria. The agreement, marks a significant step toward modernizing the
country’s financial technology infrastructure.
Under
the partnership, both companies will collaborate to develop cloud-based
architectures and services tailored to the needs of local financial
institutions while meeting Nigeria’s data residency requirements. The agreement
positions Peerless to enhance its service delivery through Huawei Cloud’s
advanced technologies.
Central
to the collaboration is SeaBaas SaaS, a Huawei Cloud-powered solution designed
to help financial institutions manage high-volume transactions and
mission-critical operations. The platform enables banks to scale securely,
improve operational stability, and deliver seamless customer experiences.
The
companies say the partnership will accelerate innovation in Nigeria’s financial
services sector by supporting faster deployment cycles and more agile product
development.
