Benin
has opened the 2025 edition of its national Digital Week, SENUM 2025, an
initiative led by the Ministry of Digital and Digitisation to accelerate
innovation, skills development and digital transformation across the country.

Held
under the theme “AI, Media & Digital: Entrepreneurship to Shape Our Common
Future,” this year’s event focuses on the opportunities and challenges brought
by artificial intelligence as it reshapes industries, work and economic models.
The
opening ceremony which took place at the Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel &
Spa, drew a wide audience that included government officials, entrepreneurs,
industry experts, students and digital professionals. Participants gathered to
exchange knowledge and chart pathways for strengthening Benin’s digital
ecosystem.

SENUM
2025 featured panel discussions, keynote sessions, training programmes,
demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. The event also includes the Digital
Village, where exhibitors are showcasing innovative products, services and
solutions contributing to the country’s digital development.
