Vodafone
Business has announced a partnership with the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart
Foundation in Cairo to develop the digital infrastructure for Egypt’s most
anticipated advanced cardiac hospital, scheduled to open in 2026.

The
initiative aims to integrate real-time patient data, AI-powered diagnostics,
and cloud-enabled medical workflows to streamline complex heart care, making it
faster, smarter, and safer. The hospital is expected to handle over 120,000
critical cases annually, positioning it as a regional center of excellence for
cardiac treatment.

Mahmoud
ElKhateeb, Executive Director of Vodafone Business, outlined the broader impact
of the project, noting that the technology backbone being established will not
only enhance healthcare delivery but also contribute to Egypt’s national
journey toward making world-class medical care accessible to all citizens.
