Ugandan delegation undertakes study tour in Vietnam to deepen ICT collaboration

Ugandan delegation is currently in Vietnam on a study tour aimed at
benchmarking successful ICT initiatives and identifying new avenues for
bilateral collaboration. The team includes officials from the Ministry of ICT
& National Guidance, the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications
Technology, and representatives from the private sector.
During
the visit, the delegation toured key institutions across Vietnam’s ICT
ecosystem, engaging with leaders and experts to understand advanced models for
ICT education, digital skills development, and industry partnerships.
The
tour forms part of Uganda’s broader strategy to enhance digital capacity,
strengthen innovation frameworks, and expand international cooperation in the
technology sector.
