Africa Pay Forum – Addis Ababa Edition commenced this morning with a strong
message of partnership and continental cooperation. The event opened with
welcome remarks from Hind Sidqui, CEO of One Africa Forums, who emphasized the
importance of collaboration in shaping a resilient and inclusive payments
landscape across Africa.
She
was joined by Ahmed Khalil, Head of Sales at S2M Worldwide, the partner for
this edition, who reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting innovation
and secure digital payments across the region.
The opening session set a unifying tone for the day’s engagements, underscoring the shared ambition to strengthen links between Ethiopia and the broader African payments ecosystem.
As discussions officially get underway, participants are expected to explore opportunities to build, connect, and advance the future of digital finance on the continent.
