Rizik Dominic Samuel assumes office as Director General of South Sudan’s National Communication Authority

Mr.
Rizik Dominic Samuel has officially assumed office as the Director General of
the National Communication Authority (NCA) in Juba. He was welcomed by the
Deputy Minister of ICT & Postal Services, Hon. David Yau Yau, the Chairman
of the NCA Board of Directors, Eng. Tejwok Simon Ajak, the Undersecretary for
Postal Services, Hon. Thomas Gatkuoth Yak, along with NCA directors, advisors,
and staff.
In
his inaugural address, Mr. Samuel pledged to lead the Authority with integrity,
dedication, and transparency. He emphasised that under his leadership, the NCA
will operate as an open, responsive, and accountable institution.
Highlighting
the importance of collaboration, he noted that working closely with other
government bodies is essential to overcoming current challenges and achieving
the Authority’s strategic objectives.
Mr.
Samuel concluded by reaffirming his commitment to building an NCA that drives
South Sudan’s digital development and positions the country for growth in the
ICT sector.
