Alkan Telecom supports Telecom Egypt’s digital transformation with deployment of ONMSi Fiber Monitoring System

Telecom has announced the successful deployment of the ONMSi Fiber Monitoring
System (FMS) in partnership with VIAVI Solutions as part of Telecom Egypt’s
ongoing digital transformation programme.
The advanced platform provides real-time network visibility, rapid fault detection, and centralized monitoring across Telecom Egypt’s national fiber infrastructure.
The system, showcased by Telecom Egypt during the Cairo ICT exhibition, is designed to enhance automated and intelligent management of the country’s expanding fiber network. Alkan Telecom served as the implementation partner, delivering full integration, deployment, optimization, and operational enablement to ensure Telecom Egypt’s teams can effectively utilise the monitoring capabilities.
The
collaboration between Telecom Egypt, VIAVI Solutions, and Alkan Telecom aims to
create a more resilient and efficient fiber ecosystem capable of supporting
future connectivity demands. Alkan Telecom expressed appreciation for the
leadership and support of Said Abdrabh in advancing the project.
