MTN MoMo Uganda CEO visits Stanbic Bank to deepen collaboration to advance financial inclusion

MTN MoMo Uganda’s leadership team paid a courtesy visit to Stanbic Bank Uganda as part of ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration and expand access to innovative financial services across the country.

The delegation, led by MTN MoMo CEO Richard Yego, included Chief of Strategy Stephen Mutana, Chief Product Officer Jemima Kariuki-Njuguna, Chief Commercial Officer Keith Tukei, General Manager for Corporate Services Dennis Kakonge, and General Manager for Finance Operations Peter Ochen. They were received by Stanbic Bank Uganda CEO Mumba Kenneth Kalifungwa and members of his executive team.

Both institutions described the meeting as an opportunity to reinforce their longstanding relationship, explore new areas of synergy, and advance shared goals in driving financial inclusion. Discussions focused on co-creating accessible and efficient digital financial solutions to support businesses and individuals across Uganda’s economy.

MTN MoMo Uganda noted that partnerships of this nature are critical to delivering meaningful impact, adding that closer collaboration with Stanbic Bank will accelerate efforts to expand innovative services that empower more Ugandans to participate fully in economic activity.
