The
Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation of Sierra Leone has signed
a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of
Communications and Digital Economy, signaling a commitment to a stronger, more
connected digital future.

The
agreement establishes a framework for cooperation on digital public
infrastructure, innovation, youth skills development, and cross-border digital
trade. By fostering interoperability and collaboration, the MoU aims to support
a more integrated West African digital economy, enhancing opportunities for
both countries in technology and innovation.
Officials
from both ministries highlighted that the partnership will enable joint
initiatives to develop digital platforms, facilitate knowledge sharing, and
promote inclusive digital growth across the region.
