Chief
Executive Officer of Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT), Jane
Egerton-Idehen has conducted a working
visit to Enugu State, including a tour of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka
(UNN), to engage with the African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Power
and Energy Development (ACE-SPED).

At
the centre, Egerton-Idehen was welcomed by Prof. E.C. Ejiogu, Director of
ACE-SPED, and Prof. M.A. Ahanaku, Head of Communications, Department of
Electronics and Computer Engineering. During the visit, Prof. Ejiogu presented
the centre’s advanced research models and state-of-the-art technology solutions
in power systems, highlighting ongoing initiatives to drive sustainable energy
development.

The
CEO’s visit provided insight into ACE-SPED’s contributions to Nigeria’s energy
sector and reinforced NIGCOMSAT’s interest in supporting innovation-led growth
and technology-driven solutions within the country’s energy ecosystem.
