World Bank Vice President visits Irembo to review Rwanda’s progress in service digitization

Irembo has hosted Dr. Ndiamé Diop, Regional Vice President for Eastern and Southern Africa at the World Bank, for discussions on Rwanda’s ongoing advancements in digital service delivery. The visit brought together senior government officials, including the Minister of ICT and Innovation, Paula Ingabire, and the CEO of the Rwanda Information Society Authority, Antoine Sebera, alongside leaders from the IFC and representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure.

During the engagement, Irembo CEO Israel Bimpe and his team outlined the progress made in accelerating the digitization of public services and highlighted how Rwanda’s digital platforms are improving efficiency and expanding access across government services. The delegation was also briefed on IremboAI, the company’s emerging suite of AI tools designed to support government officers, service managers, and citizens through natural language interactions and intelligent workflows.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Irembo, the Government of Rwanda, and development partners to advancing trusted AI and strengthening digital public infrastructure across Africa. Irembo expressed optimism about continued collaboration with the World Bank as Rwanda deepens its leadership in digital transformation.
