Guinea
has formalised a series of major agreements aimed at accelerating its digital
transformation agenda during the Transform Africa Summit 2025. The Minister of
Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, Rose Pola Pricemou,
announced the deals, which focus on strengthening regional cooperation,
enhancing public digital systems, and developing national digital talent.

As
part of the summit outcomes, the minister signed a memorandum of understanding
with the Smart Africa Alliance Secretariat and Guinea’s Ministry of Technical
Education, Vocational Training, Employment, Higher Education, Research and
Innovation. The agreement establishes the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA)
in Guinea, a new institution that will train young Guineans in advanced digital
skills and work in synergy with national institutions, including the Simandou
Academy.
Guinea
also entered into a partnership with RealTyme SA to support efforts to
modernize and secure the country’s public digital infrastructure. According to
the ministry, the collaboration will contribute to building stronger, more
resilient digital systems across government.

The
Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy said the
agreements reflect its commitment to a sustainable and innovation-led digital
transformation, underpinned by regional cooperation and the development of
skilled human capital capable of meeting future technological challenges.
