MTN South Sudan and UNICEF
South Sudan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a digital
partnership aimed at enhancing access to vital information, educational
resources, and life-saving updates across the country. The collaboration is expected
to benefit millions of children, youth, and communities in South Sudan.

Under the partnership, MTN
South Sudan will provide zero-rated access to the Internet of Good Things
(IoGT), allowing up to 150,000 children and youth to access free educational
and well-being content. The initiative will also enable free public service SMS
messages, reaching an estimated 2–3 million people with timely and critical
updates. In addition, MTN Mobile TV will be leveraged to share UNICEF content
with between 100,000 and 300,000 viewers.

The partnership underscores
a shared commitment to driving digital inclusion, creating safer online spaces,
and improving access to education, health, and protection services throughout
South Sudan
