Consolidated
Bank Ghana (CBG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Office
of the Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability (OMSCCS), led by Hon.
Issifu Seidu, to strengthen collaboration in promoting climate action and
sustainable development initiatives.
The
agreement establishes a framework for partnership between CBG and OMSCCS,
focusing on advancing climate resilience and supporting impactful environmental
projects across the country.

Speaking
at the signing ceremony, Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey, Managing Director of CBG,
expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it would enable the
Bank to access green and sustainable finance through collaboration with the
Ministry. She emphasized that this aligns with CBG’s commitment to responsible
banking and environmental stewardship.
The
partnership supports CBG’s position as a leading sustainability-driven public
bank and contributes to Ghana’s broader efforts to become a frontrunner in
climate action and green growth across Africa.
