Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Office of the Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability (OMSCCS), led by Hon. Issifu Seidu, to strengthen collaboration in promoting climate action and sustainable development initiatives.

The agreement establishes a framework for partnership between CBG and OMSCCS, focusing on advancing climate resilience and supporting impactful environmental projects across the country.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey, Managing Director of CBG, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it would enable the Bank to access green and sustainable finance through collaboration with the Ministry. She emphasized that this aligns with CBG’s commitment to responsible banking and environmental stewardship.

The partnership supports CBG’s position as a leading sustainability-driven public bank and contributes to Ghana’s broader efforts to become a frontrunner in climate action and green growth across Africa.
