The
Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah
Seghrouchni has received Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, Director-General of
the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO),
at the Ministry’s headquarters in Rabat to discuss avenues for enhanced
collaboration in digitalization and artificial intelligence.
The
meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in
emerging technologies, training, and capacity building in digital professions.

Both parties emphasized the need to develop joint projects that promote digital
culture across the Islamic world and support Morocco’s growing role as a
regional leader in innovation and sustainable digital transformation.
Dr.
Al-Malik commended Morocco’s efforts in advancing digital governance and
innovation, while Minister El Fallah Seghrouchni reaffirmed the country’s
commitment to fostering inclusive digital development and building strategic
partnerships that contribute to the broader goals of digital empowerment within
the Islamic world.
