Moi
University has cemented its position as a hub for innovation and digital
advancement by signing three key Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during the
Kenya Software and AI Summit 2025 in Eldoret. The agreements were concluded
with Konza Technopolis, Shenzhen Leaderhub Technology Co., Ltd (China), Baran
Telecommunications, and Pathways Technologies Limited.

The
partnerships aim to foster collaboration in research, innovation, and digital
transformation, providing platforms for co-creating digital solutions.
Leveraging Konza Technopolis’ cloud and data infrastructure, the initiatives
will enhance learning opportunities and support mentorship programs, student
attachments, and hackathons.
The
agreements are expected to empower young innovators, strengthen Kenya’s digital
ecosystem, and position the country as a global hub for smart, locally-driven
technological solutions.

Moi
University’s leadership emphasized that these collaborations reflect a
forward-looking approach to equipping students and researchers with the skills
and resources needed to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
