Ghana
participated in Beyond GovTech 2025 in Denmark, engaging in a series of
high-level exchanges focused on strengthening digital trust, cybersecurity and
citizen-centred digital systems. The event brought together government leaders,
industry experts and technical institutions to explore how technology can
support inclusive and resilient digital societies.

During
a panel discussion at Langelinie Pavillonen, the Director General of the Cyber
Security Authority, Mr. Divine Agbeti, outlined Ghana’s coordinated
cybersecurity framework aimed at safeguarding critical systems and enhancing
interoperability.
At
the Confederation of Danish Industry, Dr. Eric Essuman, Director General of the
Ghana Meteorological Agency, shared insights on how digital tools are advancing
climate monitoring and early warning systems, while the Executive Director of
the Data Protection Commission, Dr. Arnold Kavaarpuo, emphasized the importance
of stronger data governance and privacy as enablers for digital inclusion.

The
delegation also visited the Danish Meteorological Institute to explore future
cooperation on climate data and digital innovation. Ghana’s engagement at
Beyond GovTech 2025 affirmed the country’s rising influence in Africa’s digital
transformation agenda and its commitment to deepening partnerships with Denmark
to build secure and citizen-focused digital ecosystems.
