The
MTN Zambia Foundation has entered into a partnership with MyScape Hub to roll
out a five-month initiative focused on improving digital skills among youth and
women across Zambia. The programme, titled “Tech for Growth: Advancing Digital
Inclusion for Zambia,” aims to expand access to digital literacy and support
local innovation, as well as encourage active participation in the digital
economy.

Through
this collaboration, digital literacy and entrepreneurship training will be
integrated into MyScape’s existing community programs, using both in-person
workshops and online learning channels. The initiative will leverage the MTN
Skills Academy platform to train more than 1,500 beneficiaries from underserved
communities. In addition, at least 750 young people will receive specialized
mentorship and job-readiness digital certificates to enhance their employment
prospects.

MTN
Zambia Foundation says the partnership forms part of its long-term vision to
make digital empowerment practical, transformative, and more accessible to
communities. The foundation believes the initiative will enable participants to
develop meaningful skills, pursue new opportunities, and create value within
Zambia’s evolving digital landscape.
