Türksat
A.Ş. has signed a major cooperation agreement with China’s satellite operator
Chinasat, establishing a broad-based partnership that will span aviation
connectivity, global maritime mobility, disaster communication and research and
development.
The
agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony attended by Türksat CEO
Ahmet Hamdi Atalay and Deputy General Manager Dr. Selman Demirel, alongside
Chinasat CEO Ma Haiquan and senior company officials.

Atalay
stated that the collaboration will enhance Türksat’s role within the global
satellite communications ecosystem and support the development of new joint
solutions targeting both aviation and maritime sectors. Chinasat’s CEO Ma
Haiquan noted that the partnership will enable next-generation service
deployment within In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) and maritime communication
markets.

The
cooperation marks a significant step toward strengthening cross-border
satellite technology collaboration and advancing innovation in critical
connectivity services worldwide.
