Togo’s
Ministry of Public Service Efficiency and Digital Transformation has announced
a new action plan aimed at accelerating the digitalisation of internal
processes and administrative procedures across government institutions within
four weeks.

A
kick-off meeting was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, marking the official
start of the project with the Ministère délégué chargé de l'Énergie et des
Ressources Minières, which becomes the first ministry selected to pilot this
rapid approach to full digital transformation.
The
meeting was chaired by Mr. Robert Koffi Messan Eklo, Minister Delegate to the
Minister of the Economy in charge of Energy and Mining Resources, alongside
Mrs. Cina Lawson, Minister of Public Service Efficiency and Digital
Transformation.

The
initiative forms part of government efforts to modernize public administration,
enhance service delivery efficiency, and strengthen the use of digital tools in
managing public services. The ministry believes this accelerated model will
create a blueprint that can be replicated across other institutions, ultimately
contributing to the broader national digital reform agenda.
