Morocco
has reiterated its commitment to an ethical, inclusive and innovation-driven
digital future during the International Conference on Digital Platforms held in
Marrakech on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Speaking at the event organized by
the National Competition Council, Minister Amal Falah Seghroucheni emphasized
that the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda places the human being at the
centre, ensuring a balanced approach between technological progress, protection
and collective responsibility.

The
Minister highlighted ongoing flagship initiatives led by the Ministry,
including the deployment of 5G, Phase II of the National High-Speed Internet
Plan, the rapid expansion of national fiber infrastructure, and the
establishment of the Al Jazari Research and Innovation Institutes. She also
referenced the WE-Elevate program, designed to support and empower SMEs led by
women and youth, reinforcing Morocco’s drive toward digital inclusion and
entrepreneurship.

According
to the Minister, the country’s long-term strategy for digital transformation is
anchored on four foundational pillars: strong infrastructure to enhance
networking and cloud capabilities, governance frameworks that ensure security
and transparency, innovation boosted through collaboration and startup
development, and inclusiveness that guarantees equal access to digital services
and opportunities for all segments of society.
