Türksat
A.Ş. has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China-based space
technology company Spacesail to develop and deliver multi-orbit satellite
communication services in Türkiye and regional markets.
Under
the agreement, the two companies will integrate geostationary (GEO) and low
Earth orbit (LEO) satellite systems to provide high-capacity, low-latency, and
seamless communication solutions for industries including energy, mining,
maritime, corporate networks, and aviation.

Türksat
A.Ş. will leverage its regional expertise, advanced infrastructure, and
extensive coverage, while Spacesail will bring its innovative LEO technology
and global network capacity to support the development of next-generation
connectivity solutions across Türkiye and neighboring regions.
The
agreement was signed by Türksat CEO Ahmet Hamdi Atalay and Deputy General
Manager Dr. Selman Demirel, together with Spacesail Chairman Dr. Jason Jie
Zheng and Vice President Ms. Racy Tasai.
Türksat
CEO Ahmet Hamdi Atalay described the partnership as a significant step in
expanding Türksat’s capability to offer advanced communication solutions beyond
Türkiye. He said integrating GEO and LEO systems will enable the company to
deliver more flexible, faster, and more inclusive services to customers.

Spacesail
Chairman Dr. Jason Jie Zheng said Türksat remains one of the most influential
satellite operators both regionally and globally, adding that Spacesail looks
forward to strong collaboration and impactful cooperation in the region.
