MTN Eswatini has announced the departure of its Chief Executive Officer, Wandile Mtshali, after five years of leading the company and more than 25 years of service within the MTN Group. Staff and partners gathered this week to celebrate Mtshali’s contributions and impact on the organisation.

During his tenure, Mtshali led major advancements in network innovation and championed MTN Eswatini’s shift toward a more digitally-driven service model. His leadership has been credited with strengthening customer experience initiatives while accelerating the company’s bold digital transformation strategy.

MTN Eswatini staff honoured him across the country, expressing appreciation for his commitment and vision, noting that the farewell marks a new chapter rather than an end to his journey.

Mtshali’s next steps have not yet been disclosed, but the company says his legacy will continue to influence MTN Eswatini’s growth and strategic direction into the future.
