The Euro-African tech and investment summit, EMERGING Valley, returns on 26 November 2025 at TheCamp in Aix-Marseille-Provence, under the High Patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron. The 9th edition of the summit is set to be the largest yet, reinforcing its status as a key platform for innovation and collaboration between Africa and Europe.

Founded by Samir Abdelkrim, EMERGING Valley has become a catalyst for connecting African and European innovation ecosystems. This year’s summit will highlight Africa’s expanding role in global technological investment, bringing together over 1,300 participants, 150 startups, and 60 international investors from more than 70 countries.

“Africa is now one of the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems. EMERGING Valley 2025 aims to connect this talent with global investors ready to bet on its potential,” said Abdelkrim.

The event will feature leading investors and venture capitalists from Europe, Africa, the Gulf, Japan, and the United States, including representatives from Plug and Play Tech Center, Orange Ventures, Flat6Labs, Launch Africa Ventures, 500 Global, and Hivos Impact Investments. Through high-level dialogues, startup pitch sessions, and dedicated investor lounges, the summit will foster cross-border financing and strategic partnerships.

A major highlight of EMERGING Valley 2025 will be its focus on African artificial intelligence, showcasing homegrown AI innovations across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, and education. The sessions will emphasize inclusive, ethical, and impact-driven approaches to AI, featuring African entrepreneurs alongside European and Gulf experts.

The summit will also welcome expanded delegations from Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritania, and the Comoros, along with representatives from the EU Eastern Partnership, marking a new chapter in Euro-African-Mediterranean cooperation.

Marseille’s position as a digital gateway between Africa and Europe will once again be underscored through the Provence Africa Connect Prize, which rewards collaborative innovation projects linking the two continents.

By combining investment, innovation, and inclusion, EMERGING Valley 2025 aims to drive sustainable partnerships and position Africa as a central player in shaping the future of global technology.
