Ericsson Egypt hosts Swedish Ambassador to strengthen bilateral partnership and advance 5G innovation

Egypt has welcomed H.E. Mr. Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt,
to its Cairo office in a visit that underscored the strong partnership and
shared values between Sweden and Egypt in driving digital transformation.

Juhlin-Dannfelt was received by Dalia Merheb, Country Manager for Ericsson
Egypt, and members of the company’s leadership team. The discussions focused on
Ericsson’s strategic priorities in Egypt, highlighting the company’s
longstanding commitment to supporting innovation, local talent development, and
the expansion of digital connectivity across the country.
The
meeting also emphasized Ericsson’s global leadership in 5G technology and its
ongoing role in supporting Egypt’s rollout of 5G networks. Through its
expertise and partnerships, Ericsson aims to accelerate the nation’s digital
transformation and contribute to building a more connected and sustainable
future.
As
part of the visit, Ambassador Juhlin-Dannfelt toured Ericsson’s offices and
interacted with employees whose efforts continue to drive innovation and impact
in the ICT sector. The engagement reaffirmed the importance of collaboration
between Sweden and Egypt in harnessing technology to advance economic growth
and social progress.
