This year’s conference, themed “Compliance by Design,” focuses on embedding trust, ethics, and resilience into Africa’s digital governance frameworks. The event serves as a strategic platform for sharing best practices, fostering collaboration, and charting pathways toward a secure and inclusive digital ecosystem.

In his keynote address, Hon. Kabogo emphasized Kenya’s proactive measures in safeguarding its digital landscape through the adoption of robust policies and frameworks to counter threats such as data theft, AI-driven intrusions, phishing, and ransomware. He reiterated that cybersecurity must remain a central pillar of Africa’s digital transformation and development agenda.

Dignitaries in attendance included H.E. Gideon Behar, Israeli Ambassador to Kenya; H.E. Maroš Mitrík, Ambassador of Slovakia to Kenya; Prof. Nura Mohamed, Director General of KSG; Samuel Cheng, Managing Director of Huawei Kenya; and Mr. Emmanuel Kimeu, Secretary of ICT, Security, and Audit Control, alongside several members of the diplomatic corps and global cybersecurity experts.
