MTN MobileMoney engages NIA to strengthen collaboration on identity management and data integration

The Chief Executive Officer of MobileMoney Limited, Shaibu Haruna, together with members of the company’s executive team, has paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the National Identification Authority (NIA) to explore strategic areas of collaboration.

The discussions focused on data verification, identity management, and system integration, as both institutions seek to enhance service delivery and strengthen Ghana’s digital identity ecosystem.

The engagement forms part of MobileMoney Limited’s broader commitment to improving customer identification processes, curbing fraud, enhancing data quality, and boosting operational efficiency across its services.

According to the company, the partnership with the NIA underscores MTN MoMo’s dedication to fostering secure and reliable digital financial services that align with national efforts to build a robust digital economy.
