The
inaugural meeting of the newly appointed EUTELSAT IGO Advisory
Committee was held today in Paris, bringing together representatives from the
organization’s permanent member states—Bulgaria, France,
Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Switzerland—alongside observers from
Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Monaco.
During
the session, Executive Secretary Piotr Dmochowski-Lipski presented reports detailing the activities of the EUTELSAT IGO
Secretariat and reviewed Eutelsat S.A.’s
observance of the Basic Principles as outlined in the EUTELSAT Amended Convention. The Committee also examined the organization’s
performance and results for the period from July 2024 to June 2025.

As
a special guest of the Executive Secretary, Jean-Hubert Lenotte, Chief Strategy and Resources Officer at Eutelsat, shared insights on the company’s latest developments
and strategic outlook, highlighting initiatives shaping the future of global satellite
communications.
Members
and observers expressed appreciation for the productive deliberations, which
addressed key challenges and opportunities facing the satellite
telecommunications sector. The meeting underscored EUTELSAT IGO’s ongoing
commitment to international cooperation, innovation, and the sustainable
growth of satellite connectivity.
