The
Founder and Group CEO of Payaza Africa, Seyi Ebenezer, and the company’s
Country Manager for Liberia and Sierra Leone, Frank Anwelle, have paid a
courtesy call on His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai at the Executive
Mansion in Monrovia ahead of the official launch of Payaza Africa in Liberia.
During
the meeting, the Payaza leadership shared their vision for inclusive digital
transformation across the continent and reaffirmed their commitment to
supporting President Boakai’s ARREST agenda. The discussions centered on how a
digitized economy and a vibrant small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector
can serve as key drivers of national growth and youth employment in Liberia.

present at the meeting was the Presidential Envoy for Trade, Investment, and
Special Duties, H.E. Daniel Kolubah.
President
Boakai expressed appreciation to Payaza for choosing Liberia as one of its key
markets, commending the company’s innovative payment solutions that aim to
deepen financial inclusion and create new opportunities for young people.
In
a statement following the meeting, the Payaza team expressed gratitude to
President Boakai for his warm reception, emphasizing that Liberia’s national
motto, “The Love of Liberty Brought Us Here,” continues to inspire their
mission of advancing digital freedom, unity, and shared progress across Africa.
