Kenya and Zambia have agreed
to establish a framework of cooperation to advance innovation, digital skills,
and expanded connectivity as part of efforts to accelerate socio-economic
transformation in both countries.
The agreement was reached
during a courtesy call by Zambia’s Minister of Technology and Science, Felix C.
Mutati, to Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the
Digital Economy, William Kabogo, at the ministry’s headquarters in Nairobi.

Talks between the two
leaders focused on leveraging technology to enhance digital skilling,
innovation, and connectivity, areas in which Kenya has made notable progress on
the continent. The framework of cooperation will enable both countries to share
knowledge, experiences, and best practices in science, technology, and
innovation.
Hon. Mutati was accompanied
by Zambia’s Permanent Secretary for Technology and Science, Dr. Brilliant
Habeenzu.
