The ICT Authority has hosted
a preparatory meeting with students from the International Telecommunication
Union (ITU), accompanied by trainers from Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, under the Her CyberTracks programme.

The initiative is designed
to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of Kenya’s National
Cybersecurity operations and to showcase why the country is recognized as a
regional leader in the field.
During the visit, students
engaged in interactive sessions, guided tours, and knowledge-sharing activities
that offered valuable insights into Kenya’s cybersecurity framework. The
sessions also inspired reflections that participants are expected to apply in
strengthening their own national institutions.

The ICT Authority reaffirmed
its commitment to building a secure and resilient digital future, noting that
such engagements highlight the importance of collaboration in enhancing
cybersecurity capacity across regions.
The Authority expressed its
readiness to welcome the participants again for further exchanges.
