The Minister of
Communications and Innovation, David Tshere has officially handed over a
state-of-the-art Digital Centre to Mogobane Primary School, marking the tenth
such facility established under Botswana’s Digital Transformation Agenda.
The centre is
equipped with 30 workstations, an interactive board, high-speed internet, and
two laptops for teachers, providing learners and educators with modern tools to
enhance digital literacy and educational outcomes.

The handover
ceremony was attended by Hon. Justin Hunyepa, Assistant Minister of Child
Welfare and Basic Education, Area MP Hon. Boniface Mabeo, as well as executives
and management from the Universal Access and Service Fund (UASF) and the
Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA).
The initiative
underscores a shared commitment to bridging the digital divide and preparing
Botswana’s youth for a technology-driven future.
