The General
Directorate of Algerian Telecommunications has hosted an extraordinary meeting with
digital content creators, attended by Mr. Kamel Sidi Said, Advisor to the
President of the Republic in charge of Communication, and Minister of
Communication, Mr. Zuhair Bouamama.
The session,
led by Minister of Post and Telecommunications Sid Ali Zerrouki, focused on the
need for legal frameworks that protect creators, promote constructive content,
and transform talent into sustainable economic opportunities.
The Minister, in
his address, noted that the dialogue marked the beginning of a deeper
understanding of creators’ aspirations and challenges.
He pledged to
hold another meeting before the end of the year and expand participation to
include more voices, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering
digital content that reflects Algeria’s cultural richness and social values.
The meeting
highlighted Algeria’s efforts to balance creative expression with ethical,
legal, and economic support for its growing digital creator community.
