Stellarix has
become a member of the Tanzania Internet Service Provider Association (TISPA),
marking a significant step toward building a sovereign, carrier-neutral digital
foundation for Tanzania.
The membership,
effective September 19, 2025, strengthens collaboration within the Tanzania
Internet Exchange (TIX) community to promote an open, neutral, and
high-performance interconnection ecosystem.

The partnership
aims to enhance the nation’s digital infrastructure, enabling faster, more
secure, and more affordable connectivity. Stellarix emphasized that
carrier-neutral data centers are essential to a thriving digital economy, and
collaboration with internet exchanges like TIX will unlock greater efficiency,
resilience, and accessibility for enterprises, government, and citizens.
By supporting
neutral peering hubs, the initiative also aims to bolster Tanzania’s digital
sovereignty and position the country as a regional digital gateway, fostering
economic growth, innovation, and digital inclusion.
