MTN Uganda,
through the MTN Uganda Foundation, has celebrated the graduation of 103 youth
from the second cohort of the MTN ACE Initiative. The program is designed to
enhance employability and empower the next generation with digital, business,
and entrepreneurial skills.

Since its
launch in 2022, the MTN ACE programme has equipped 188 young Ugandans, with 21
graduates already employed at MTN Uganda across various departments. Many
others have launched their own businesses, driving innovation and contributing
to the country's economic growth.
This initiative
addresses critical youth unemployment challenges in Uganda, where over 75% of
the population is under 30. The graduation ceremony highlighted the importance
of such programs in advancing Uganda's digital transformation and human capital
development.

MTN Uganda
expressed gratitude to its partners, including the Ministry of ICT &
National Guidance, National Career Guidance Shows, MUBS Entrepreneurship
Centre, Centenary Technology Services, Engage Consulting, National ICT
Innovation Hub, and MoMo from MTN UG, for their collaborative support in this
transformative initiative.
